Default Discord build still viable?

Discord [e] - death
Vile miasma - death
Conjure Phantasm - illusion
Images of Remorse - illusion
Accumulated Pain - illusion

Some decent optionals would be soul feast for a nice heal or anything from the inspiration line for ench/hex removal and interupts, any of course the nice e-management.

This build seems good because in PVE you have the option of just hex + discord to drop mobs, or massive degen. And for larger mobs stacking your degen, hitting accumulated pain then miasma for some nasty damage.

I spose this would be feasible in PVP though most people are afraid of hex removal, which with SO many hexes i dont think would be that big of a problem, or we could always toss in even a low level parasitic bond for a nice cover.

Also i dont claim this is original, i personally haven't found something exactly like this, though discord builds aren't new, so i dont take credit, just tossing this out for discussion.

This is my first attempt at trying to synergize mesmer hex degen and necro condition stacking.

All feedback is greatly appricated

Discord & Vile Miasma both require a condition to be used. Therefore, you must use CP + IoR + AP then use Discord. Vile Miasma won't do much except the inital damage and top off the max degen (which will be an additional 2 pips).

Are you a Me/N or a N/Me?

Soul Reaping is better than FC for a discord build.

Without a cover condition, PvP will remove your conditions fast and Discord and Vile Miasma will be useless.

I like using Enfeebling Blood/Rotting Flesh + Suffering + Parasitic Bond + Discord.

If you want to use Illusion, use Phantom Pain instead of Accumulated Pain. Then use either Shattered Delusions or the NF Inspiration spells that remove Mesmer hexes.
